How to cut and use USA Brushed Metallic surfaces Vinyl

1. Set the settings of the plotter machine such as cricut or cameo to 40 force and 12 or 13 speed and place the vinyl in it
2. When cutting is done, apply transfer tape to the design and transfer it to your desired product
3. Use a heat blower or heat press for a few seconds to secure the vinyl to the product and get rid of any bubbles
4. To print on a mug, after transferring your design, use a heat blower to heat the mug over medium-high heat for 3-5 minutes.

how to print vinyl with laser printer

1. Adjust the printer settings to accommodate label printing.
2. Print the desired logo onto a vinyl sticker.
3. Apply an adhesive film over the printed design to protect it.
4. Use a cutter plotter to trim the sticker around the edges of the logo, but don’t remove the sticker just yet.
5. Place a silicone sheet or foil on the sticker , and pass it through a thermal laminator set to 175-180 degrees.
6. After the lamination process, gently peel off the logo from the sticker and it’s now ready to use.

How to print USA Brushed Metallic surfaces Vinyl with a sublimation printer

1. Using a Sawgrass or Epson sublimation printer print your photo on thermal sublimation paper
2. Protect the heat press by placing a plain white paper over it
3. Place the printed sublimation paper on the vinyl and put a silicone sheet on top of it then put them inside the heat press
4. Set the heat press temperature to 200 degrees and the time to 60-80 seconds at a medium pressure
5. Remove the sublimation paper, the image is printed on the vinyl
6. Paste the printed vinyl onto the object and insert it into the press again for 5 to 10 seconds to permanently fix it

Here are some important tips to keep in mind:

• Matte vinyl, needs to be laminated with lamination paper (available in bookstores) with the laminator set to 160-170 degrees.
• Lamination is not required for Gold, silver, opal, and hologram glitter vinyl.
• Plastic or acrylic surfaces like cards, may become slightly tilted after using a heat press. Place a heavy object on the surface to return it to its original form.
• When printing on mugs, start by peeling off the sticker tip and attaching it to the cup. Slowly rotate the cup while spreading the sticker for a perfect application.
• Invert the design before cutting thermal vinyl.
