How to use Modified Clay Materials indoors with silicone:
- Prepare the surface by ensuring it is clean and dry
- Take accurate measurements to determine the required tile sizes
- Apply silicone onto the back of the tiles, leaving a margin from the edges to prevent overflow during installation
- Securely position and affix the flexible tiles in place
- Smooth the tiles using a plastic roller, eliminating any irregularities
- silicone can be directly used on surfaces such as ceramic, wood, or glass
How to use Modified Clay tiles outdoor with adhesive:
- Prior to installation, ensure a clean and dry substrate surface.
- Accurate measurements are essential.
- Apply adhesive paste to the back of flexible tiles, creating serrated patterns by scraping it.
- Place the tiles from top to bottom on the substrate, compacting them with a clapper tool.
- To ensure seamless joints, use masking tape on tile ends before paving the seams.
- Fill the seams using a plastic piping bag filled with caulk.
- Once the caulk is semi-dry, grout with reinforcement bars suitable for the purpose.
- Remove masking tape, clean the surface with a dry sponge.
- For outside corners, cover the sides with masking tape, fill the seams with caulk.
- After the caulk is semi-dry, remove excess paste with a spatula, remove masking tape, and clean with a dry sponge.
- Enjoy your completed installation!
- This adhesive needs to be used on a treated substrate, meaning the walls should be cement
