How to use Modified Clay Materials indoors with silicone:
Prior to installation, make sure the surface is clean and completely dry. b. Take accurate measurements to determine the required tile dimensions. c. Apply silicone onto the rear side of the flexible tiles, leaving adequate space from the edges to prevent overflow during attachment. d. Affix the flexible tiles securely into their designated positions. e. Smooth out the tile surface using a plastic roller, ensuring a uniform appearance without any bumps. f. Keep in mind that silicone can be directly used on various surfaces, including ceramic, wood, or glass.
How to use MCM Modified Clay tiles outdoor with adhesive
- Ensure the substrate is clean and dry prior to installation.
- Take accurate measurements to ensure a precise fit for the tiles.
- Apply adhesive paste onto the back of the flexible tiles, creating serrated patterns by scraping it.
- Paste the flexible tiles on the substrate from top to bottom, using a clapper tool to compact them firmly.
- Before paving the seams between the tiles, secure masking tape on the end of each tile where it meets another.
- Fill the seams by using a plastic piping bag filled with caulk.
- Once the caulk is semi-dry, grout the seams with suitable reinforcement bars.
- Remove the masking tape and clean the surface using a dry sponge.
- For outside corners, cover the sides with masking tape and fill the seams with the same caulk.
- When the caulk is semi-dry, use a spatula to remove any excess paste, remove the masking tape, and clean the surface with a dry sponge.
- Congratulations! Your installation is complete
