How t0 use MCM Modified Clay tiles indoors with silicone:
- Start by ensuring that the surface is thoroughly cleaned and dried
- Take meticulous measurements to determine the appropriate tile sizes
- Apply silicone onto the back of the flexible tiles, allowing for a gap between the edges to avoid overflow during installation
- Attach the flexible tiles firmly in place
- Employ a plastic roller to smoothen the tile surface, eliminating any irregularities
- Remember, you have the option of using silicone directly on surfaces such as ceramic, wood, or glass.
How to use MCM Modified Clay tiles outdoor with adhesive
- Ensure that the substrate is clean and dry to achieve proper adhesion.
- Take accurate measurements for a precise installation.
- Apply adhesive paste on the back of the flexible tiles, creating serrated patterns by scraping it.
- Starting from the top, paste the flexible tiles on the substrate, using a clapper tool to compact them firmly.
- Before paving the seams, attach masking tape to the end of each tile where it meets another.
- Use a plastic piping bag filled with caulk to fill the seams between the tiles.
- Once the caulk is semi-dry, grout the seams using reinforcement bars suitable for the purpose.
- Remove the masking tape and clean the surface with a dry sponge.
- For outside corners, cover the sides with masking tape and fill the seams with the same caulk.
- After the caulk is semi-dry, use a spatula to remove excess paste, remove the masking tape, and clean the surface with a dry sponge.
- Your installation is now complete!
