How to use Modified Clay Materials indoors with silicone:
- Verify that the surface is clean and completely dry
- Take precise measurements to determine the necessary tile dimensions.
- Apply silicone to the back of the flexible tiles, leaving a gap along the edges to prevent overflow during attachment
- Stick the flexible tiles firmly into position
- Utilize a plastic roller to roll over the tiles, eliminating any uneven areas
- Keep in mind that silicone can be directly applied to surfaces like ceramic, wood, or glass.
How to use MCM Modified Clay tiles outdoor with adhesive
- Ensure that the substrate is clean and dry before starting the installation process.
- Take accurate measurements to ensure a precise fit.
- Apply adhesive paste onto the back of the flexible tiles, creating serrated patterns by scraping it.
- From top to bottom, paste the flexible tiles onto the substrate, compacting them firmly with a clapper tool.
- Before paving the seams between the tiles, use masking tape to cover the end of each tile where it meets another.
- Fill the seams using a plastic piping bag filled with caulk.
- Once the caulk is semi-dry, grout the seams using suitable reinforcement bars.
- Remove the masking tape, then clean the surface using a dry sponge.
- For the outside corners, cover the sides with masking tape and fill the seams with the same caulk.
- When the caulk is semi-dry, use a spatula to remove any excess paste, remove the masking tape, and clean the surface with a dry sponge. Your installation is now complete!
