How to use Epoxy Resin and Hardener Kit for crafts
- Measure equal amounts of the resin and hardener in 2 separate measuring cups
- mix the equal parts of resin and hardener together
- add pigment or mica powder to the resin mixture
- Mix slowly and thoroughly until there is no more swirls and bubbles (Time:3-4 minutes).
- you can choose to use a heat gun to get rid of bubbles faster
- Wait 1 hour to cure, then place in the item you want to cast ex: flower
- Wait 4-6 hours, for the first layer of rein to harden, then pour the second layer
- Repeat the 1st 3 steps, Pour the second layer in the mold slowly
- Allow to cure for 24 hours – heat and mass will dictate the amount of cure time required
