How to use cricut smart vinyl
- Prepare your design on Cricut Design Space software and set the material to “Smart Vinyl” in the machine settings.
- Load and cut the vinyl in your Cricut Maker 3 or Cricut Explore 3 (no mat required).
- Weed away excess vinyl with the weeding tool , leaving only the desired design on the backing sheet.
- Place the transfer tape on the vinyl and peel the design from the backing
- transfer the vinyl to the desired object by sticking the transfer tape on the clean dry surface and smoothing it with a scraper
- Peel off the transfer sheet at an angle, leaving the vinyl design on the surface.
